 Always nice to find a loop hole in the Mod Archive genre list. This song's style is actually Merengue with a few Soca elements. Merengue is the national dance and music of the Dominican Republic. I discovered the style on a holiday in Spain and wondered: "could I make that kind of music?" Appears I can. Thanks for your nomination, Crew! :) If you're interested in Merengue, I recommend artists such as Elvis Crespo (one of the biggest merengue hits in Europe ever: "Suavemente"), Juan Luis Guerra, who has millions of fans in Latin-America, Johnny Ventura, and Fernando Villalona.
